Alexandra Jaricova

My name is Alexandra and I work in Dutch, English, and Russian. I came to psychotherapy from medicine and neurology and combine these knowledge areas to guide my clients towards persistent positive changes. We focus on disturbing feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to understand and change the core process behind the symptoms. You can contact me for support on high sensitivity, neurodivergence, high cognitive ability, trauma and cPTSD, difficulties in relationships with partners or parents, anxiety, anger outbursts and emotion regulation, burnout, negative self-image, adverse childhood experiences, depression, OCD, personality disorder, grief, stress or burn-out in new parents, stress, adjustment disorder, conflicts, chronic physical complaints, questions about career, and other topics.

If my working style suits you, you notice a change, insight, or relief after each session. After a few sessions, you will be able to understand yourself better and see yourself healing and growing.

In 2025-2026, together with my colleague Ymke Dehon I organize a course "Omgaan met hoogsensitiviteit" where we teach what high sensitivity is and how to take of yourself if you are a highly sensitive person. Please find more information on the page of group practice Alento.

2016 - graduated as Integrative Psychotherapist from AIHP, Belgium,

2011-2016 - did doctoral research at KULeuven, Belgium,

2011 - finished training in Neurology in Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute in Moscow, Russia,

2009 - graduated as medical doctor from Moscow State University in Russia (this has been recognized as Master in Geneeskunde in Flanders in 2018).
